Embarking on his career, Kenny served as a versatile practitioner, accumulating substantial experience across diverse legal domains including Family Law, Wills & Estates, Criminal, and Civil Litigation. Presently, he practises exclusively in Family Law, Family Violence and Estate Law, leveraging his understanding of financial intricacies garnered from his commerce background.
Community, Volunteering and Interests
Kenny has demonstrated his commitment to community service. He has been actively engaged in voluntary roles at the legal service organizations such as the Whittlesea Community Connections Legal Service and the Moonee Valley Legal Service. Within these capacities, he has also assumed policy work.
Kenny’s dedication extends to his involvement in various professional interests and associations, notably within the Vietnamese community in Australia. He holds memberships in esteemed organizations including the Vietnamese Community of Australia Victorian Chapter (VCA VIC) and the Vietnamese Australian Professionals Network (VAPN). Moreover, he serves as a respected Board Member and Vice President of the Whittlesea Multicultural Communities Council (WMCC). Kenny’s commitment to fostering multicultural understanding and inclusion is further evidenced by his participation in prominent initiatives such as the Dual Identity Leadership Program (DILP) and the Intercultural Young Advocacy Leaders (IYAL) program.
Kenny was elected to the Board of the Ethnics Community Council of Victoria (ECCV) in 2023, the peak body for migrant and refugee communities advocating for human rights, freedom, respect, equality and dignity for migrant and refugee communities. Kenny serves as a current Board member.
Beyond his professional commitments, Kenny finds solace in recreational pursuits such as practising in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and cultural lion dance.
