Karen Grigg started her working life at Pearsons on the 29th July 1985 – four decades ago. Since that time she has been in continuous employment at Pearsons and has contributed to the culture and value of our firm in her various roles.
Her roles have included:
- Titles office searches;
- Settlement Clerk in conveyancing;
- Probate searches;
- Brief delivery to barristers;
- Filing documents in the County Court, Supreme Court and Family Court;
- Seeking abridgements of time in the Family Court; and
- Currently she is Front – of – House in reception, greeting clients, on the telephone and in person when they attend our office, or make enquiries. She leads our welcome team.
Her contribution has been overwhelming and, she sets the benchmark for the standard for all of our staff here at Pearsons.
We celebrated Karen’s 4 decades of tenure at Pearsons with a party at the Hyatt in Essendon in March, the surprise being that her family and friends were also invited and also, a celebratory lunch at the Pearson’s Office on Tuesday 12th August 2025 where Vizzini’s Catering gave us all a lovely Italian meal.
After Joe Schepis and Leanne Abela, the Directors and Partners of the firm, congratulated Karen in a speech of gratitude, Karen thanked all of the staff and said that she felt she belonged at Pearsons and that it was the staff and the directors who had made her stay for such a long time as she felt appreciated and a part of the Pearson’s family.
We are so fortunate to have Karen as part of our Pearsons team and she is well loved by everyone here.
