Dominique attended Deakin University and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and also a Bachelor of Criminology.
During her studies Dominique volunteered at a Community Legal Centre and also worked as a paralegal and conveyancing clerk at a specialised boutique family law firm giving her invaluable experience in dealing with Family Law matters.
Dominique’s experience has been mainly in Family Law however she has also worked in the areas of Property Law, Wills and Estates and Child Protection. Having this diverse background in areas of law that relate to Family Law strengthens Dominique’s understanding of the complex issues which may arise in parenting and property settlement matters.
Dominique’s focus is on resolving matters expeditiously and in a skilled and a considered manner bearing in mind that every case has its own idiosyncrasies and that clients’ needs differ in every situation. She also enjoys assisting clients to resolve their matters in a pragmatic and cost effective way and strives to achieve the best outcomes for clients meeting their particular needs.
Interests
Outside of work Dominique enjoys spending time with her dog Otis, going to Pilates and supporting the Geelong Cats.
