Leanne Abela and Joseph Schepis had the pleasure of attending the 9th annual symposium hosted by DyeCo – Solvency & Turnaround who provided a great evening lecture on insolvency trends in 2025 and small business restructuring.

We also had the pleasure of hearing from Olympic bronze medallist, Caity Parker who won the Olympic boxing medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic games being the first Australian female boxer to do so.

With a career spanning over a decade at the elite level, Caity has proven herself as a fierce competitor and inspiring leader in women’s sport.

Beyond the ring, Caity is a passionate advocate for women in sport using her platform to inspire confidence, leadership and resilience. Her journey is a powerful example of breaking stereotypes, proving doubters wrong and pushing the boundaries in a traditionally male – dominated sport.

Caity is now a speaker, mentor and ambassador for “Play Like a Girl Australia” which has a mission to break down barriers and provide girls and women with the tools they need to thrive in sports and leadership roles.

Great event hosted by DyeCo and a privilege to be on the guest list to attend.
