Parmida Attar

Parmida holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, and brings a well-rounded experience across Family Law, Criminal Law, and Immigration Law. As a result, she has developed a strong understanding of the complex and often interconnected issues that arise in legal matters.

Prior to becoming a solicitor, Parmida worked as a Court Support Officer at the Magistrates' Court of Victoria. This role provided her with valuable insight into court processes and procedure, allowing her to effectively guide clients through them. She also has experience as a volunteer paralegal in Community Legal Centres, which has further strengthened her commitment to advocating for individuals navigating separation and ensuring clients feel supported throughout the legal process.

Parmida is particularly passionate about Family Law and has assisted in a wide range of matters, including complex parenting disputes, cases involving family violence, property settlements, and proceedings requiring collaboration with Independent Children's Lawyers, Barristers and Single Experts.

She takes the time to understand each client's circumstances, explains legal options clearly and provide practical advice tailored to their goals. Whether resolving matters through negotiation or representing clients in court, Parmida approaches every matter with professionalism, empathy, and a focus on achieving meaningful and lasting outcomes.

Parmida is fluent in Farsi, enabling her to communicate effectively with clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Interests

Outside of work, Parmida enjoys reading, staying active, and travelling to experience different cultures and food, and learning Italian.
