Louis has a Bachelor of Laws/ Bachelor of Global Studies double degree.
He received an Executive Dean’s Commendation for outstanding academic achievement during his tertiary education.
Louis was admitted to legal practice in September 2019 after completing his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice through Leo Cussen Centre for Law.
Louis has gained experience working as a Judge’s associate/Court officer in both the Family Court of Australia of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia. Through this role, he has been exposed to various areas of law including but not limited to family, migration, industrial and trusts law.
Louis is passionate about Family Law, and he practices exclusively in that area.
Louis has a keen interest in parenting disputes including complex matters involving relocation, recovery of children, grandparents and surrogacy arrangements. He also has experience in property disputes.
Specifically, Louis has experience in:
(a) litigating and negotiating children’s matters;
(b) preparing binding child support agreements;
(b) litigating and negotiating property matters (whether de factor or marital property disputes);
(c) preparing binding financial agreements and property settlements;
(d) contravention proceedings;
(e) enforcement proceedings;
(f) divorce proceedings;
(g) surrogacy matters; and
(h) intervention order proceedings.
Louis is determined to provide comprehensive advice but equally a pragmatic, cost-effective and satisfactory solution to his client’s problems.
Interests
Outside of work, Louis enjoys tennis, movies, interior design and catching up with friends and family.
