Lisa holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Global Studies (International Relations).
Before specialising in Family Law, Lisa worked across a range of practice areas including Wills and Estates, Criminal Law, Family Law, and Employment Law. This broad experience has equipped her with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to navigate complex and intersecting legal issues. It enables her to recognise and address the broader implications that family law matters often have — from financial to personal and emotional. Lisa has expertise in both parenting and property matters and assists clients in these matters both in negotiations and litigation. She assists clients with complex parenting disputes, including those involving family violence and allegations of risk to children. In property matters, she provides clear and strategic advice on asset division.
Lisa takes a practical and compassionate approach, working closely with clients to find the solution that best fits their needs and goals. She listens carefully to her clients’ concerns, helps them understand their options, and works collaboratively to achieve practical and durable outcomes. Her communication and negotiation skills allow her to manage both amicable settlements and high-conflict matters with professionalism and composure.

In addition to her professional expertise, Lisa is bilingual and can read, and understand Tagalog (Filipino).
