Prior to joining Pearsons, Ezio led the Family Law department of a Melbourne law firm, where he managed a broad range of complex parenting and property matters while supervising junior practitioners.
Ezio has practised predominantly in family law and has worked across a number of specialised, Doyle’s Guide–recognised family law firms, gaining experience in complex parenting and property matters. Ezio has appeared in contested proceedings and has been involved in successful outcomes in reported cases, such as Murati & Roca [2024] FedCFamC2F 1672, demonstrating a strong grasp of strategy, evidence and advocacy in high-pressure litigation.
In addition to client work, Ezio contributes to the profession through legal knowledge initiatives, including his contributions to Peter Szabo’s 10th edition of the Family Law Practice Manual, ensuring his advice reflects current law and best practice.
Ezio focuses on protecting his clients’ interests while managing cost, risk and emotional strain. He prioritises clear advice, careful preparation and outcomes that move matters forward efficiently.
Outside law, Ezio is a professional classical pianist with the Australian Ballet and Australian Ballet School – a discipline that reinforces his precision, composure and attention to detail. He has worked for renowned institutions such as the University of Melbourne’s Victorian College of the Arts, Gilbert and Sullivan’s Opera Victoria, and the National Theatre.

Ezio is fluent in Italian and French and has an understanding of Spanish. His language skills allow him to communicate with clients from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Ezio Also has a background in personal training and maintains a keen interest in health, fitness and sport. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors.
