About Me

Sally graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2010 and was admitted in late 2011 when she completed the Tasmanian Legal Practice Course. After taking a break to travel to South East Asia , Sally commenced working as a Deputy Associate to Judge Baker in the Federal Circuit Court in Hobart in January 2013. Sally transferred to the Melbourne Federal Circuit Court in January 2014 where she commenced working as a Deputy Associate to Judge McGuire. During this time Sally was exposed to a wide variety of parenting, property and child support cases, including being part of the relocation list with Judge McGuire. In this role Sally refined her skills in legal research and further enshrined her passion for court advocacy. Sally also brings a wealth of experience regarding court procedure and a practical understanding of the reality of litigation. Sally has a passion for advocacy and the people facing side of the law and will be working on parenting, property and divorce matters at Pearsons.

Outside of Pearsons Sally enjoys cooking Thai food, reading, checking out new restaurants and keeping fit with ballet barre classes.
